Liscannor
This small fishing village has a picturesque harbour, many shops, cafes and restaurants. Sights include a medieval church and the remains of a castle built by the O'Connors and stronghold of the O'Briens. John B.Holland, inventor of the submarine, was born in Liscannor!

From Ennis bypass of the N18 Galway-Limerick take exit N85 to Ennistymon. In Ennistymon turn left to N67 in direction to Lahinch/Cliffs of Moher. In Lahinch turn right to R478 in direction Cliffs of Moher/Doolin. Follow road through Liscannor and further on in direction of Cliffs of Moher. The house is signposted at an intersection about 1 km from Liscannor to the right. Follow signs to the
