It is the perfect place to explore the many sights this area has to offer! Everything is in easy reach - the Cliffs of Moher, Doolin with its traditional music pubs and the Aran Islands ferry , Lahinch with its beach and golf course, Liscannor with pubs, restaurants and shops and - last not least - the unique Burren region, about which you'll find out more on the following page!

This small fishing village has a picturesque harbour, many shops, cafes and restaurants. Sights include a medieval church and the remains of a castle built by the O'Connors and stronghold of the O'Briens. John B.Holland, inventor of the submarine, was born in Liscannor!
